Exploring Faith & Discipleship

Exploring Faith & Discipleship is a practical course in Christian living. It will begin with a question all must answer as they claim Christ. “What is faith?” And equally important, “What implication does faith have for the way we live our lives?” The first thing to be considered will be belief, what do we mean when we say we have faith? The second focus will be counting the cost, for faith is not always easy. The remaining sections will consider discipleship including living the Christian life, growing in faith, sharing our faith, serving/relating to others, and worship. This course is designed to provide students with a rich learning experience through the readings of many contemporary and ageless Christian authors. In addition to the selected readings, students will explore scripture references that will provide direct connections to biblical principles. Students should expect in depth discussions, practical applications and time for personal reflection.
